The Elusive Holy Spirit Of G-d: Now You've Got It, Now It's Gone Again

It is remarkable how "believers" – that is, Jesus worshippers – leave simple logic at home when evaluating the core of their assertions of biblical support for their idolatrous practices.

Perhaps no biblical text is more central in the thinking of Jesus worshippers than Isaiah 53.  So important is this text that it can easily be argued that without its interpretation as a prophecy of a suffering and dying saviour who atones for the sins of the world Jesus worshippers will themselves realise that there is zero scriptural evidence for this essentially pagan concept.

Reading Dr Mitch Glaser's paper Isaiah 53 in 20th Century Jewish Evangelism (available elsewhere on my timeline) my attention was caught by the following passage:

But at the time, as a young believer, many things were “black and white” to me! I was sure that if the Rabbis did not interpret Isaiah 53 as being fulfilled by Jesus, then their choice not to do so was it intentionally deceptive!

I do not believe there was a real and actual cover-up to keep this chapter from the Jewish people – at least, not on the part of the majority of our sages. Nonetheless, it was so clear to me that Isaiah 53 was a reference to Jesus the Messiah that I felt betrayed by my own religious leaders – as if someone were trying to keep something from me.

These semi-conspiracy theories continue to this very day. For example, many believers think that Isaiah chapter 53 is intentionally left out of the weekly Haftarah portions read in the synagogue. Was Isaiah 53 intentionally left out? It is possible, but many other chapters were omitted as well.

The plain fact is that the clarity with which I – and perhaps you – see the Messianic fulfilment of this passage is not shared by everyone who reads Isaiah 53. We must allow room for the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit. I have discovered over the years that although Isaiah 53 clearly points to the Messiah and His work, this is not self-evident to those in whom the Holy Spirit is not working.

Let me translate this into plain language.  What Glaser says is

1. the "forbidden chapter" hoax is a "semi-conspiracy theory".  Of course, Glaser prevaricates.  He cannot disavow his fellow-"believers" who spread this lie about the evil rabbis all over the world ­– right from the inception of Jesus worship.  But he is honest enough, just about, to admit that the cover-up does not exist, and that it is "as if" someone is hiding something.
2. Isaiah 53 does NOT clearly point to any messiah UNLESS the Holy Spirit does its work of enlightenment and illumination -  a nice bit of padding, by the way: enlightenment and illumination are the same thing.

The two points are intimately related.  For whom exactly is it "as if" someone is hiding something?  Precisely for those in whom the Spirit is working.  And in whom is the Spirit working?  You guessed it: in someone who already worships Jesus or someone who receives this Spirit from G-d Most High.

So, away with the idiotic hoax that Jews somehow hide Isaiah 53 because, if anyone would read it without any prejudice, they would immediately see the plain truth: Jesus died  for my sins.  By Glaser's reasoning "the rabbis" have nothing to fear from Isaiah 53 because no one who does not have the Spirit working in them will "get" Isaiah 53.

Glaser's Holy Spirit is a strange fellow.  Apparently it worked perfectly fine for many of you for many years.  "Of course Isaiah 53 is about Jesus.  What else could it possibly mean?" was your understanding.  Glaser's contention is that this was because the Spirit was working in you, and not because the messianic meaning of Isaiah 53 was plain for all to see.

And now that you have "fallen from grace" and "denied Yeshua" – oh horror of horrors! – what happened to the workings of the Spirit in you?

Has G-d Most High revealed His truth to you by the Spirit and then subsequently blinded you by withdrawing the Spirit from you?

Or have you committed the ultimate sin against the Spirit and "denied Yeshua" despite the fact that the Spirit illuminates you?

Let's look at these two possibilities one by one.  The first: G-d Himself has withdrawn the Spirit from you and now you are going to hell.  As far as I remember this would be Calvin's position: G-d grants salvation to whom He pleases and can withdraw His divine favour at a whim, without reason.  Hurray for a sovereign G-d without any morals.

The second: you did it yourself, you sinned and ignored the Spirit.  What does that mean?  Well, by Glaser's reasoning it was not you who saw Jesus in Isaiah 53 but it was the Spirit who showed it to you.  That is, you did not have any choice in the matter initially.  You are only responsible for not rejecting that which the Spirit already clearly showed to you.  Hurray for a G-d Who grants you free choice selectively: never on the way in, but only on the way out.

All this is of course a perfect way of un-asking any questions.  It is also a classical "heads I win, tails you lose" stratagem.

So what about that Spirit?  What does the Bible – the Only Testament, I mean – say about the Spirit?

וַאֲנִי זֹאת בְּרִיתִי אוֹתָם אָמַר ה' רוּחִי אֲשֶׁר עָלֶיךָ וּדְבָרַי אֲשֶׁר שַׂמְתִּי בְּפִיךָ לֹא יָמוּשׁוּ מִפִּיךָ וּמִפּי זַרְעֲךָ וּמִפִּי זֶרַע זַרְעֲךָ אָמַר ה' מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם

[And as for Me, this is My covenanting them, says Hashem: My Spirit which is on you and My words which I put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth and from your offspring's mouth and from your offspring's offspring's mouth, says Hashem, from now and forever.] (Isaiah 59:21)

I have been liberal with the Capitals in my Translations although Hebrew does not have capitals.  Christian translations frequently use tendentious Capitalisation to make the text say something that simply ain't there in the Hebrew: Son, Child, Redeemer, Saviour, Messiah, Lord are Keywords That Come To Mind.

In this case, however, I claim that my Capitals are justified.  For every one plain to see, without any magical Spirit to show it to you, we read in this verse about G-d's Spirit, that which we Jews call the רוח הקודש [Ruach haKodesh = the Spirit of Holiness or the Holy Spirit].  It also clearly and unambiguously makes a promise, unconditional and irrevocable: Hashem has covenanted with His people that they will forever have that Spirit "on them" and Hashem's words will never never never depart from them and their children, for all generations.

So who can claim that the Spirit illuminates them when they read the very words of G-d which He Himself promised would never depart from their ancestors and their ancestors' offspring for all generations?  And who reads Isaiah 53 in the light of that illumination?

And if the odd Christian reads this – and odd they have to be, to even want to read this – I have a suggestion.  Set aside your fears for a moment and just evaluate what you have read.  Where do you find fault?  Do you need to appeal to the Holy Spirit to continue in your Jesus worship?  If so, you should read about Baron Munchausen's neat trick.  He could lift himself up by his own bootstraps.  That is obviously a fairy tale.  Some fairy tales are a nightmare.

Stop Worshipping Me, I Am Not The Real Jesus ~Actor Robert Powell

Since he played the character, Jesus, in the 1977 movie, Jesus of Nazareth, Robert Powell’s photos are hung in churches, homes, cars, schools, offices and many holy grottos all over the world to drive off evil forces and attract good fortunes. However, Powell has cried out in the social media that he is not Jesus and that people should stop worshiping him. Rather, they should respect the true Jesus and worship God. His is among the most trending stories on social media in January 2016. In his words: “I never cease to say and I repeat it to the world since 1977. I am not Jesus Christ, I am just an actor and British comedian. I am tired of seeing my photos displayed in places of worship and other places for worship. I just make a film for a living. Burn my picture and worship the only God in truth ! I am just an actor…Jesus is Lord!*”

 Another actor who played Jesus is Jim Caviezel. According to clipd.com, “Jim is arguably one of the most famous portrayals of Jesus in acting history. He played Jesus in Mel Gibson’s ‘The Passion Of The Christ,’ which is the greatest selling Christian movie of all time. Jim won one award for his portrayal as Jesus, and several other nominations.” He too may soon beg people to stop worshipping
him like Powell.

Robert Powell as Jesus of Nazareth

“Robert Powell (born 1 June 1944) is an English television and film actor, best known for the title role in Jesus of Nazareth (1977) and as the fictional secret agent Richard Hannay. He is also known for his role as Mark Williams in BBC One medical drama, Holby City, and as David Briggs in the sitcom The Detectives alongside Jasper Carrott.

His distinctive voice has become well known in advertisements and documentaries, especially in World War II documentaries such as World War II in HD Colour, Hitler’s Bodyguard, The Story of the Third Reich and Secrets of World War II.

Powell was born in Salford, Lancashire, the son of Kathleen (née Davis) and John Wilson Powell. Powell was educated at Manchester Grammar School (where one of his classmates was the actor Ben Kingsley), then a direct grant grammar school for boys in the city of Manchester in North West England, and later at the Royal College of Advanced Technology in Salford.

Powell took up acting while an undergraduate. He had aspired to become a lawyer and in 1963-4 attended an external London University LLB degree Course at the Manchester College of Commerce but at the same time quietly took acting roles under Trevor Nunn. At the College of Commerce he swapped roles with Bernard Brandon in a week-long College Revue of Comedy Sketches to see which role gave him “the best laughs”. This early comedy experience was later to be fulfilled with Jasper Carrott. After this he secured a post at a repertory theatre in Stoke-on-Trent.His first film part was in Robbery when he played the driver of the driver who is coshed in the Stanley Baker film about the great train robbery. He had a small role in the original film version of The Italian Job (1969) playing one of the gang, but had to wait a few years for his first success, playing scientist Toby Wren in the BBC’s science fiction series, Doomwatch in 1970. Having been killed off in the last episode of the original series, at his request, Powell became a pin-up and a household name, following up with starring roles in several BBC serials, including television adaptations of the novels Sentimental Education (1970) and Jude the Obscure (1971). He also appeared in the 1975 series Looking for Clancy, based on the Frederic Mullally novel Clancy.

For several years Powell continued as a television regular, with occasional forays into film, as the Austrian composer Gustav Mahler in the Ken Russell biopic Mahler (1974) and Captain Walker in Russell’s film version of Tommy (1975). He then played Jesus Christ in Jesus of Nazareth (1977) following a successful second audition with Franco Zeffirelli. For this role, Powell was nominated for a BAFTA award, and collected the TVTimes Best Actor award for the same performance.

In 1975, Powell married his girlfriend, the Pan’s People dancer Babs Lord, shortly before he was due to start filming for Jesus of Nazareth on location in Morocco. On 23 November 1977, they had their son, Barney, followed in 1979 by a daughter, Kate.

In 1978, Powell took the leading role of Richard Hannay in the third film version of The Thirty Nine Steps. It met with modest success, and critics compared Powell’s portrayal of John Buchan’s character favourably with his predecessors. His characterisation proved to be enduring, as almost ten years later a television series entitled simply Hannay appeared with Powell back in the role, (although the Buchan short stories on which the series was based were set in an earlier period than The Thirty-Nine Steps). Hannay ran for two seasons.

In 1980, Powell appeared in the film Harlequin, playing the Harlequin of the title who seems to have the power to cure the son of a powerful politician. For this performance, he won the Best Actor Award at the Paris Film Festival. In 1982, he won Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival for his role in Imperativ.

Powell then agreed to a request from his old friend and golf partner, comedian Jasper Carrott, taking the part of an incompetent detective in a succession of sketches that formed part of Carrott’s television series. The Detectives was so popular that it was turned into a sitcom, Powell’s first and only venture into this genre.

In 1984, Powell made his U.S. film debut in What Waits Below (as known as Secrets of the Phantom Caverns).

In 1986, Powell narrated and co-starred in William C. Faure’s popular miniseries Shaka Zulu, with football legend Henry Cele in the title role. In 1992, he starred in the New Zealand World War I film Chunuk Bair, as Sgt Maj Frank Smith. In 1993-1995, he was the voice actor of Dr Livesey in The Legends of Treasure Island.

Nowadays Powell appears in person less often, but his distinctive voice is frequently heard on voice-overs, advertisements and as a narrator of television programmes such as Great Crimes and Trials and The Century of Warfare and World War II in HD Colour. Giant Statue of Jesus Christ Erected in Syria?

A new statue of Jesus Christ was erected on top of a Syrian mountain this week. The statue is taller than the Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Interfax reported:

A sculpture ensemble depicting Jesus Christ called ‘I have come to save the world’ has been erected on top of a 2,000-meter high mountain in Syria.

The statue has been placed on a historic pilgrim route from Constantinople to Jerusalem, at the Cherubim Monastery in the community of Saidnaya at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level, the Moscow Spiritual Academy, which supported this peacekeeping project, said in a statement.

“The ensemble with the blessing Christ in its center, seen from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Israel, is designed to bring peace, mutual understanding, and hope for common salvation to a region engulfed in the flames of war,” it said.

The warring parties suspended hostilities and were watching the statue’s installation, which took three days, it said.

The monument was installed on October 14, when some Christian churches celebrate the feast of the Intercession of the Theotokos, and on the eve of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.

Syrian Christians believe that the second advent of Christ will happen on the mountain, on the route that pilgrims took from Jerusalem to Constantinople.

Backers say it is there simply because 'Jesus would have done it.'

The main armed groups in the area halted fire while organizers set up the statue which was assembled from two pieces.

Smaller statues of Adam and Eve stand close to the work which was inspired by Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer statue. 

The project, called I Have Come to Save the World, is run by the London-based St Paul and St George Foundation and was financed by private donors from across the globe. 

The plans were started in 2005, but were hit by many set backs including the deaths of key backers and the 2011 uprising against president Assad.

And for as long as it is there, the statue will offer some support to the region's besieged Christians.

Sunni Muslims dominate the revolt, and jihadists make up some of the strongest fighting groups. 

Other Muslim groups along with the 10-percent Christian minority have stood largely with Assad's government, or remained neutral.

Churches have been vandalised, priests abducted and last month the extremists overran Maaloula, a Christian-majority town so old that some of its people still speak a language from Jesus' time.

Shape-Shifting Jesus Described in Ancient Egyptian Text

In a newly deciphered 1,200-year-old telling of the Passion story, Jesus has supper with Pontius Pilate before his crucifixion. His supper with the apostles (and subsequent arrest) happen on Tuesday instead of Thursday.

A newly deciphered Egyptian text, dating back almost 1,200 years, tells part of the crucifixion story of Jesus with apocryphal plot twists, some of which have never been seen before.

Written in the Coptic language, the ancient text tells of Pontius Pilate, the judge who authorized Jesus' crucifixion, having dinner with Jesus before his crucifixion and offering to sacrifice his own son in the place of Jesus. It also explains why Judas used a kiss, specifically, to betray Jesus — because Jesus had the ability to change shape, according to the text  — and it puts the day of the arrest of Jesus on Tuesday evening rather than Thursday evening, something that contravenes the Easter timeline.

The discovery of the text doesn't mean these events happened, but rather that some people living at the time appear to have believed in them, said Roelof van den Broek, of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, who published the translation in the book "Pseudo-Cyril of Jerusalem on the Life and the Passion of Christ"(Brill, 2013).

Copies of the text are found in two manuscripts, one in the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City and the other at the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. Most of the translation comes from the New York text, because the relevant text in the Pennsylvania manuscript is mostly illegible.

Pontius Pilate has dinner with Jesus

While apocryphal stories about Pilate are known from ancient times, van den Broek wrote in an email to LiveScience that he has never seen this one before, with Pilate offering to sacrifice his own son in the place of Jesus.

"Without further ado, Pilate prepared a table and he ate with Jesus on the fifth day of the week. And Jesus blessed Pilate and his whole house," reads part of the text in translation. Pilate later tells Jesus, "well then, behold, the night has come, rise and withdraw, and when the morning comes and they accuse me because of you, I shall give them the only son I have so that they can kill him in your place." [Who Was Jesus, the Man?]

In the text, Jesus comforts him, saying, "Oh Pilate, you have been deemed worthy of a great grace because you have shown a good disposition to me." Jesus also showed Pilate that he can escape if he chose to. "Pilate, then, looked at Jesus and, behold, he became incorporeal: He did not see him for a long time ..." the text read.

Pilate and his wife both have visions that night that show an eagle (representing Jesus) being killed.

In the Coptic and Ethiopian churches, Pilate is regarded as a saint, which explains the sympathetic portrayal in the text, van den Broek writes.

The reason for Judas using a kiss

In the canonical bible the apostle Judas betrays Jesus in exchange for money by using a kiss to identify him leading to Jesus' arrest. This apocryphal tale explains that the reason Judas used a kiss, specifically, is because Jesus had the ability to change shape.

"Then the Jews said to Judas: How shall we arrest him [Jesus], for he does not have a single shape but his appearance changes. Sometimes he is ruddy, sometimes he is white, sometimes he is red, sometimes he is wheat coloured, sometimes he is pallid like ascetics, sometimes he is a youth, sometimes an old man ..." This leads Judas to suggest using a kiss as a means to identify him. If Judas had given the arresters a description of Jesus he could have changed shape. By kissing Jesus Judas tells the people exactly who he is. [Religious Mysteries: 8 Alleged Relics of Jesus]

This understanding of Judas' kiss goes way back. "This explanation of Judas' kiss is first found in Origen [a theologian who lived A.D. 185-254]," van den Broek writes. In his work, Contra Celsum the ancient writerOrigen, stated that "to those who saw him [Jesus] he did not appear alike to all."

St. Cyril impersonation

The text is written in the name of St. Cyril of Jerusalem who lived during the fourth century. In the story Cyril tells the Easter story as part of a homily (a type of sermon).  A number of texts in ancient times claim to be homilies by St. Cyril and they were probably not given by the saint in real life, van den Broek explained in his book.

Near the beginning of the text, Cyril, or the person writing in his name, claims that a book has been found in Jerusalem showing the writings of the apostles on the life and crucifixion of Jesus. "Listen to me, oh my honored children, and let me tell you something of what we found written in the house of Mary ..." reads part of the text.

Again, it's unlikely that such a book was found in real life. Van den Broek said that a claim like this would have been used by the writer "to enhance the credibility of the peculiar views and uncanonical facts he is about to present by ascribing them to an apostolic source," adding that examples of this plot device can be found "frequently" in Coptic literature. 

Arrest on Tuesday

Van den Broek says that he is surprised that the writer of the text moved the date of Jesus' Last Supper, with the apostles, and arrest to Tuesday. In fact, in this text, Jesus' actual Last Supper appears to be with Pontius Pilate. In between his arrest and supper with Pilate, he is brought before Caiaphas and Herod.

In the canonical texts, the last supper and arrest of Jesus happens on Thursday evening and present-day Christians mark this event with Maundy Thursday services. It "remains remarkable that Pseudo-Cyril relates the story of Jesus' arrest on Tuesday evening as if the canonical story about his arrest on Thursday evening (which was commemorated each year in the services of Holy Week) did not exist!" writes van den Broek in the email.

A gift to a monastery ... and then to New York

About 1,200 years ago the New York text was in the library of the Monastery of St. Michael in the Egyptian desert near present-day al-Hamuli in the western part of the Faiyum. The text says, in translation, that it was a gift from "archpriest Father Paul," who, "has provided for this book by his own labors."

The monastery appears to have ceased operations around the early 10th century, and the text was rediscovered in the spring of 1910. In December 1911, it was purchased, along with other texts, by American financier J.P. Morgan. His collections would later be given to the public and are part of the present-day Morgan Library and Museum in New York City. The manuscript is currently displayed as part of the museum's exhibition "Treasures from the Vault" running through May 5.

Who believed it?

Van den Broek writes in the email that "in Egypt, the Bible had already become canonized in the fourth/fifth century, but apocryphal stories and books remained popular among the Egyptian Christians, especially among monks."

Whereas the people of the monastery would have believed the newly translated text, "in particular the more simple monks," he's not convinced that the writer of the text believed everything he was writing down, van den Broek said.

"I find it difficult to believe that he really did, but some details, for instance the meal with Jesus, he may have believed to have really happened," van den Broek writes.  "The people of that time, even if they were well-educated, did not have a critical historical attitude. Miracles were quite possible, and why should an old story not be true?"

Ruiz, who struggled with anorexia in high school, was reportedly raped when she was 14 years old.

At the young age of 15, she began a career as a topless dancer in Mexico.

By 18, she performed in X-rated hardcore movies, shooting two and three sex scenes a day for $900 each while she was in college.  She won numerous top industry awards for her work.

In an interview with Adult FYI, Ruiz said producers told her she was beautiful.

Upon filming her first sex scene, she recalled, “I felt so loved that day because I was put in hair and makeup. I was told I was beautiful. I was going to be a star.”

“It left me feeling drained,” she said. “I was so robotic, I was like a rubber Barbie doll. I had no emotions. … I was no longer Brittni. I became Jenna Presley. I had an alter ego.”

So Ruiz turned to drugs to numb her pain.

Then she attended a church in San Diego and met a man. They began dating, but he was beaten to death in front of her at a Las Panchos restaurant by members of a motor cycle gang.

“He got murdered, stabbed in front of me,” she said.

The trauma of the incident derailed her faith, and Ruiz began abusing drugs again and tried to kill herself.

Then XXX Church, an outreach ministry that focuses on helping people leave the porn industry and fight porn addictions, found Ruiz at a porn convention. The XXX Church distributed hundreds of Bibles and declared, “Jesus loves porn stars.”

Ruiz filmed her last sex scene in November 2012. She gave her life to God this year and left the industry. She now works for a limousine company.

“It was seven long years,” she told Adult FYI. “I hated what I was doing, but I wondered what I would do next.”

Looking back, Ruiz recalled, “I never found love in my life and was looking for it in all the wrong places. … I have finally encountered the unconditional love of God, and I will never go back.”

A person will never know the depth of such deception until he or she begins to study the differences between these Hebrew Messianic passages in the Hebrew Scriptures and their corrupt counterparts in our Greek, Latin, and English translations of them that end up in our Christian Bibles!

These falsified passages found in different versions of Christian Bibles are not only inaccurate in depicting Jesus as the fulfillment of the Jewish Messiah, they can be shown upon examination and comparison with the Hebrew texts to be little more than corrupted verses taken from the Hebrew Scriptures which have been purposefully manipulated, purposefully misquoted, and mistranslated. Many of these Hebrew Messianic Scriptures ended up ripped from their original Hebrew contexts by overzealous anti-Judaic and anti-Semitic Gentile Christians who were not above inventing many more out of thin air many centuries ago. Such Scriptural forgery occurred in order to make the Christ of the Ancient Wisdom traditions fit traditional Jewish Messianic parameters. Correspondingly, the ancient Christ in the Ancient Wisdom was, at the hands of Church Fathers and their scribes, made to conform to the traditional Jewish Messianic parameters. Today we recognize this literary synthesis as the supposed "Jewish" Christ by then name of Jesus.
I have just made an amazing claim that staggers the imagination of most Christian readers. The question you have to ask yourself is this: "Can this be proven beyond all doubt today?" Christianity has based itself on the Hebrew Scriptures. Rome has too. If it had not, then Christianity would be a completely detached religion, which could not validate itself on the claimed fulfillment of biblical Judaism's Scriptures. Christianity established itself upon Judaism's foundation and, therefore, remains vulnerable to Judaism's interpretation of its own Holy Book. Let us not forget that Christianity is supposed to the "fulfillment" of Biblical Judaism; it either is or is not based upon the fulfillment of the Hebrew Scriptures. The problem we encounter is if we have in our Christian Bibles faithful and accurate representations of these Hebrew Scriptures both in our Old Testaments and in the quotes from them in our New Testaments.
Answer for yourself: How many scholarly books on this "one" book of Christianity [the New Testament] have you ever read?
Answer for yourself: Have you ever taken the time to look at and compare the quotes of the Hebrew Bible as found in your New Testament that are passed off as "fulfillments of Messianic prophecy" with the corresponding parent texts in a Hebrew-English Bible? Well I and many other "truth-seekers" have and what we have seen and learned is not only alarming but also life changing!
The question we now ask is this: Does the Jesus of the New Testament fulfill the Hebrew Scriptures or is he made to seem to be the fulfillment of them though clever manipulation of the Hebrew Scriptures though the purposeful mistranslation, misquotation, misapplication of them and even the taking of them out of context for Gentile theological purposes and agendas?

Judaism is a faith built on solid Hebrew Biblical knowledge. Most Jewish people have always lived, and live today, attached to every word, every sentence, and every nuance in their Hebrew Scriptures. Study of God's word has been a holy activity for devout Jews throughout the ages, even to the detriment of earning a living. This is common knowledge concerning the Jewish people's dedication to God made available to anyone who would inquire. Said of old is that no people know the holy revelation in God's Words better than those to whom God addressed it, namely the Jewish people. To think that Rome and the later Gentile Church is a better interpreter of the Hebrew Scriptures than the Jews and their scholars is ludicrous and stretches the believability of our very own minds.

PROOF-TEXTS OF CHRISTIANITY: ARE THESE SCRIPTURES FAITHFUL TRANSLATIONS OF THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES?

What the vast majority of Christians fail to realize is that the Hebrew Bible has nothing to say about Jesus, not one thing. Notice carefully I said the "Hebrew Bible" and not the Greek mistranslation of it with its hundreds of alterations and purposeful misquotations and mistranslations of the Hebrew Scriptures, the intent of which was to introduce foreign Gentile religious concepts concerning a son of God and Sun gods to the Jewish concept of the Messiah in the Hebrew Scriptures. It is these added religious concepts which were first added into the Hebrew Scriptures and later Greek translations of them by the apostate Essenes of Alexandria, Egypt, in 200 B.C.E., which will in a little over 200 years from their forgery be applied by the Qumran Essenes to their slain Teacher of Righteousness in 70 B.C.E. Within a hundred years, these same dogmas end up applied to the coming Avatar of the soon dawning age of Pisces. We know this celestial avatar today by the name of Jesus and before long, this "Jesus Story" was adopted and propagated by the emerging Gentile "believers" toward the end of the first century of the Common Era. The later Church Fathers call these Essenes the first "Christians" and we see this early reference of them noted in Acts 6: Acts 6:7 7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. The Essenes had long ago departed from normative Judaism since as Zadok priests, the Hasmonean dynasty ere refused to allow the Essenes to assume their rightful place in the temple as the official priesthood of Israel. Their rejection from their rightful priesthood only fueled their later separation and total rejection in their eyes of an apostate Judaism of their day. This would only cause their further spiritual evolution away from the current expression of Judaism but further provide the impetus for their progressive radical reinterpretation of the typical Jewish Messiah. We find their legacy adopted and later elaborated upon by Rome since both the Essenes possessed at the very heart of their religious expressions, a great dependency, and influence upon the Sun and Sun worship.

Christianity's use of the Hebrew Bible is both their strength and their flaw. It is their strength because the Hebrew Bible is the word of God. It is their flaw because Gentile Christianity misinterprets and misappropriates the Hebrew Scriptures to support their claims. It is ironic, but when Christianity claims fulfillment of, and yet obliterates, the Hebrew Bible's message and prophecies, then all truth seekers have a right, even a duty, to demonstrate this terrible error which is passed off to the unsuspecting Gentile world as the "infallible, inerrant, and inspired" Word of God. Such a Christian's Bible with such falsehoods and Scriptural adulterations is anything but the Word of God. Secondarily, the Jesus depicted within such a document is anything but the "real;" in fact we accept uncritically the New Testament's depiction of the Jewish Jesus along with all the forged and falsified texts that surround him and are never aware of the need to investigate or question this "counterfeit" Jesus. Not being versed in Biblical Judaism before reading the New Testament then it is impossible to spot the forgery from the truth when reading the pages of the New Testament; we accept without question that all contained within the New Testament must be true because we have been told it is. We are set up to be deceived when but a little study into these matters will reveal the truth about the New Testament in this regard. The result is a belief in a Jesus as "the Christ" that never existed as depicted in the New Testament, and often such beliefs render the believer as stated above an idolater and blasphemer before God! Sadly, Christians never know they are wrong in their religious beliefs since they are not aware their Scriptures are less than accurate then translated from the Hebrew. Since unknowingly believing purposefully altered texts and Scriptures, as Christians, we are not aware of our true spiritual condition before God because. When taught to believe in the Bible's Scriptures, we were at the same time taught never to doubt the New Testament or ask questions about its reliability and integrity. Our pastors and priests failed to teach us at the same time, however, that these Scriptures in our Bibles, before they reached us, underwent tamperings and corruptions thousands of times. Scriptural and textual corruptions and interpolations (additions) of the Bible's Scriptures, in order to create a "Replacement Religion" in the New Testament, are prevalent from beginning to end of the Bible is a person submits himself or herself to serious Bible study. As Christians, we never knew we could be wrong yet the Jews have told our Scriptures in our Bibles are not accurate to the Hebrew going on now for 2000 years. The Jewish people and their Rabbis have consistently maintaining in the jaws of death inflicted upon them by the Christian Church that the Christian Jesus and Christian Messiah is not "the" Jewish Messiah. Christians seldom hear these warnings, or take heed of them because we grow up conditioned in our Churches reading corrupted and falsified texts over and over again, never knowing what happened to the Hebrew Bible at the hands of the Roman Church!

FAITH MUST BE BASED ON BIBLICAL REASON...WE MUST USE OUR MINDS TO ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

When a person undertakes such a study of the forgery of religious texts within Gentile Christianity and their Bibles then he quickly sees that Christianity's faith cannot be accepted by anyone who is even slightly knowledgeable of the Hebrew Scriptures and who uses his reasoning ability. As God created our minds, He expects us to use our reasoning together with our faith. Faith is not a substitute for reason, but a development from it and alongside it. God never gave us a lie or told us to believe a lie and when your study reveals to you the corruption of the Hebrew Scriptures and their twisting into false Messianic fulfillments concerning Jesus in the New Testament, then understand God never gave you these purposefully misquoted and mistranslated Hebrew Scriptures. Not did God the many Scriptures in the New Testament that derive from Hebrew verses taken out of context that you find your Christian Bibles. Anti-Semitic Gentiles are the culprit here; the same ones that gave you not only the Roman New Testament but the worked-over Old Testament as well. It is to these anti-Judaic Roman Christian Church Fathers and their scribes we must look for the origin of verses in the Hebrew Scriptures and Jewish Bibles that ended up purposefully mistranslated and misquoted in our Bibles. It is to these "textual forgers" we must look for the origin of the many words and phrases invented in our Christian Scriptures, as well as the many tenses of Hebrew verbs that were altered from the "present tense" to the "future tense" in our Christian Bibles. The purposeful alteration and corruption of present tense verbs in the Hebrew Scriptures to future tense verbs allow for the transformation of Scriptures out of their original contexts. Hence, what originally applied to historical Old Testament personages, are through textual forgery, made to apply falsely to the New Testament Jesus, thus deceiving millions, if not billions of people, down through the Christian centuries. It is time to learn the truth concerning these matters before we die and meet the Creator with idolatry as the cornerstone of our inherited forged Scriptures of the Christian faith.
JESUS' GOD IS JUDAISM'S GOD In no place in the New Testament did Jesus claim to be God, or God incarnate, or part of a Trinity, or in any way a special substance of God. This idea of Christianity has no basis in Jesus' pronouncements and finds its beginning in the forgery of the Hebrew Scriptures into Greek and later all English versions of the Old Testament with its resultant quotes in the New Testament. Religious concepts having more in common with "literalized" Sun worship and "literalized" astral worship became included into later Greek and later English versions of the Hebrew Scriptures and all quotes taken from them that we find in the New Testament. These, of course, send up applied to this Jesus. In so doing a human messiah and anointed one of God becomes a "literal" Sun-godman and even God himself. Idolatry and blasphemy are the fruit of such forgery and seldom does the New Testament Christian know of this because it never dawns upon him to investigate the integrity of his Christian Bible and its faithfulness in translation from the Hebrew Bible that Jesus used. The Jewish Messiah was never to be God incarnated!
In the passages that follow for your examination, you will see beyond any doubt that Jesus' God is the God of the Jewish people, as they know Him, no other. As startling as this may be to Jews and Christians, when searched with an open mind, the New Testament of Christianity shows that the Jesus of the New Testament lived and died a Jew who believed in Judaism, the God of Judaism, and the everlasting nature of Judaism. Jesus of the New Testament was not a Christian and never advocated the establishment of any new religion. Unknown again to most Gentile Christians is the fact that the non-Jew has his place within Biblical Judaism as he adheres to the Covenant and Laws of Noah that Judaism has taught for over three thousand years. Instead of this Divine legacy Christians adopt a New Covenant of man's making and literally stand without a Covenant before God; again, most Christians live totally unaware of this because they accept everything in their Bibles uncritically and without question. Few Christians ever learn the truth concerning this matter, for example, that the word "new" spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, means in the Hebrew "renewed" not "replaced" as later misquoted in the Book of Hebrews! CHRISTIANITY IS CHRISTOLOGICAL IN PROMOTING JESUS AND NOT THE RELIGION OF JESUS

Although the New Testament depicts Jesus observing the Jewish religion, it is obvious that Christianity is not the Jewish religion and has little in common with it. Christianity is not the religion observed by the Jesus in the New Testament, nor is it undergirded by the Torah as well as the commandments of God. Christianity, as it developed, distanced itself from its Jewish roots, and becomes is a religion "about Jesus," forsaking in the process, the "religion of Jesus." Lost in all of this is the accurate understanding of a "Jewish Jesus," as well as the Jewish religion practiced and observed by him in the New Testament. The Jewish faith and religion, properly understood, is the example for the spiritual evolution of the Souls indwelling all of humankind. Both the religion modeled by Jesus, along with the Gospel of St. Paul regarding the "mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints…which is Christ in you," teaches the human Soul can refine itself and make it holy and acceptable with God. This occurs by a combination of holy behavior and obedience to the Words of God in His commandments for us in the Torah. The Torah prescribes throughout our lives that special rituals and prayers accompany special times and occasions throughout the year, thus helping us to accomplish the spiritual goal desired for our Souls in the Torah as well as in the New Testament. In the New Testament, this goal is termed "the fullness and stature of Christ." The word "Torah" is a Hebrew word that means "instruction" [for our Soul], and it, when instructing the reader's Soul concerning the commandments of God, is one of the best ways to connect with God in our lives and at these special times during our lives.
In truth, as we progress in our studies, the reader will come to see that the Messianic Scriptures in New Testament derive from the events that transpire in the mythological lives of the personified Sun gods from the Ancient Wisdom and Mystery Religions. These astronomical allegories and myths from the Ancient Wisdom and their personified Sun gods end up later portrayed through the Jewish religion and the Jewish culture in the make-believe lives of numerous supposed personages that were never literal or historical persons. Not possessing the knowledge of this Ancient Wisdom going all the way back to Ancient Egypt and even beyond, we mistake when readings these allegories, myths, and metaphors, as if the characters in these narrative are literal people due to our prior indoctrination in the Western hemisphere. In America today, we grow up a literalists. The writers of these ancient Scriptures never intended their writings read all the way through literally and historically, and we never knew this. In other words, the New Testament, when read literally and historically, cannot but fail to portray its spiritual message of the Soul's evolution on Earth properly. This is seen with no greater example in the reading of what we suppose to be fulfilled Messianic Scriptures.
The New Testament does a much better job portraying the Christ of the Ancient Wisdom than the Jewish Messiah, but only if we read these texts allegorically, metaphorically, mystically, and metaphysically. The confusion comes in when the indwelling Christ of St. Paul's Gospel, deriving as it does from the Ancient Wisdom, ends up later portrayed in Jewish dress, in the Jewish culture, and in the Jewish religion as a presumed literal and historical person who supposedly lived two thousand years ago. In so doing, the New Testament has become a story about a "supposed man" when the myths of the Ancient Wisdom underwent personification. The religion of Jesus, Judaism, based as it is upon the Torah, trains the Soul for a successful Earthly pilgrimage. This is why it is important when reading the New Testament, we try to separate the "religion of Jesus" from the "religion about Jesus" later created by the anti-Judaic Orthodox Roman Church that was intended to lead uneducated and unsuspecting people through the doors of the Roman Church and succeed at this it did.
Due to these two different perspectives blended and synthesized together in the New Testament, there exist many contradictions and conflicts among the Scriptures in the New Testament. I present them through numerous Scriptural comparisons of presumed Messianic prophecies for all to see. By so doing, all can see that something is desperately wrong when the personified and allegorical events in the make-believe lives of allegorical "Solar Saviors" and "Pagan Christs" are twisted and later presented in the New Testament to non-Jews unfamiliar with the Hebrew Scriptures as assumed fulfillments of the Jewish Messianic Scriptures when they were not! What I present in this website is evidence that, contrary to Christianity's claims over the last eighteen hundred years, there is no confirmation of Christology in the Hebrew Scriptures, none whatsoever. Christians use proof-texts to advance their position that Christianity is the fulfillment of Hebrew Scriptures, yet all the while, they do not know that the texts they use from their Bibles are nothing more than false "proof texts" that are taken from forged and corrupted Hebrew Scriptures from the Hebrew and Jewish Bibles and texts! The so-called proof-texts, that are actual forgeries of Hebrew Scriptures unknown to most people without proper and thorough study, end up used to confirm the Christian's inherited religious beliefs from Church traditions. In this website, I will demonstrate that these verses from the Hebrew Bible are not proof-texts at all for the supposed divine message of Christianity but outright lies and deceptions when compared with the earlier Hebrew Masoretic Scriptures before their later corruption in Greek translations of them. That the Greek translations of the Hebrew Scriptures underwent almost constant alteration down through history by Roman scribes and monks, and that this occurred to our Christian Bibles before we inherited them is unknown to the vast majority of Christians in the world.
I have chosen to deal with these forged Christian Messianic passages and have organized them and explained them, commenting on their falsehoods and mistranslations as we analyze them in regard to their inaccuracy of translations when compared to the true Hebrew Masoretic Scriptures. These textual falsifications are faulty in many ways, as you will quickly come to realize when you study and compare them for yourself. Often, these Hebrew Scriptures were taken out of context, twisted in meaning, forced in connection, mistranslated, misquoted, or a combination of these formidable defects. Many scholars today that the many events related in the New Testament are literary creations purposefully written and created to fit the Hebrew Bible's verses. We need not ascertain whether such falsified events really occurred historically or not since this is easily done when such events are researched in Comparative Religious studies and books, and there found to have existed thousands of years earlier as applied to the gods and goddesses in the Ancient Wisdom and Mystery Religions. No greater book could a person own to see this for themselves, than T. W. Doan's Bible Myths and Their Parallels in Other Religions. Yet our pastors and priests, never seeking us that these events in the life of Jesus are supposedly "Divine" and "Unique" when applied to this Jesus. In truth, these events depicted in the life of Jesus in the New Testament are only replayed and repeated from the Ancient Wisdom and then applied to Jesus in the New Testament who is but another in a long line of Gentile personified Sun gods by Orthodox Roman Christianity and their mythology-makers. The New Testament openly states that it was "done that it may be fulfilled" but your study into the materials and evidences in this website will prove to you otherwise. Such a "fulfillment" is obviously valueless as truth or a proof of anything if the passage or Scripture in question from which this doctrine or dogma derives, is shown to be purposefully altered, misquoted, mistranslated, invented, or taken completely out of its original context. When later applied to Jesus in the New Testament, Hebrew Messianic prophecy says nothing of Christology, and Christology has no legitimate basis in the Hebrew Bible.

THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES VALIDATE JUDAISM...AND NOT CHRISTIANITY NOR ROME

What we do find in the Hebrew Bible are verses that show Judaism makes available personal salvation and life eternal through the Torah. The Christian is unwilling to see this, let alone admit this, for if he did, his whole mission of soul salvation for the world would crumble. However, the Hebrew Holy Bible is replete with passages which prove personal salvation is secured through Judaism. Moreover, Jesus also said this in the New Testament itself. In the Gospel of John, 4:22, the New Testament states, "Salvation is of the Jews." the New Testament states. God is shown in the Holy Bible to have a special relationship, a Covenant, with the people of Judaism, which is perfect, unbreakable, and eternal and it is this "Holy Nation and Royal Priesthood" which is to be a light of this Divine Revelation to you and me.

THE HEBREW MESSIAH IS NOT THE CHRIST OF ROME

The Bible describes the Messiah and the Messianic Era. The Hebrew Messiah and the Christ of Christianity have absolutely nothing in common. Jesus did not fulfill the Messianic expectations for the Messiah at all as found in the Hebrew Scriptures. The Jesus of the New Testament appears as if he did but you will quickly see when comparing the Hebrew with the Greek and English passages that no fulfillment is accomplished. The Jews have known this for centuries. Only they have the true Scriptures God imparted through them as his priest and holy nation to humankind and never corrupted them as has been done by the Gentiles with the New Testament. This is new knowledge for the typical Christian, which I am sure will find such information and knowledge hard to believe. After reading the following passages, one by one, and comparing the Hebrew passage with the forged Christian passage in the Christian's Old and New Testament, then it will become apparent to him that someone has tampered with the Hebrew Bible and altered the Revelation from God intended for the world along with "key" passages concerning the Jewish Messiah. In light of such charges made against Gentile Christianity and their "new" religion history records for us that Christianity's Christ is supposed to have a second coming to accomplish the expectations. However, there is nothing in the Hebrew Scriptures about a second coming. Such a doctrine is born out of desperation when confronted with the facts from the Hebrew Scriptures. The New Testament depicts Jesus' followers waiting for his immediate return and did so during their lifetimes in hopes that he would accomplish his supposed Messianic role. This, of course, did not happen, and Christianity has had to explain this nonoccurrence now going on 2,000 years.
