Cowboys death, arrest serve as another sad reminder that DUIs are a major problem [VIDEO]

Cowboys death, arrest serve as another sad reminder that DUIs are a major problem for NFL [Everyone!]

Josh Brent at the Irving Police Department. (AP)On Saturday, Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter after what Irving, Texas, police described as a high-speed early morning crash on State Highway 114 that caused his car to flip at least once before winding up on a service road.
His victim was teammate Jerry Brown, a 25-year-old linebacker from St. Louis. Brown, a passenger at the time of the crash, was a teammate of Brent's at the University of Illinois.
This comes on the heels of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher committing suicide in front of his coach and general manager last Saturday after murdering Kasandra Perkins, his girlfriend and the mother of his 3-month-old daughter.
Two unrelated incidents; two horrific, troubling moments.
The Belcher case was quickly seized as a political opportunity – pounced on to discuss everything from guns laws, to football's violent way, to concussions. Brushed over was the core issue – Belcher was a bad guy, a cowardly murderer. Yet even as the tangents strained, the voices just got louder.
If the Brent case is going to go the same way, with big publicity and pointed discussion, then let it be used for a more practical purpose: to continue to remind players and fans alike of the dangers of drunk driving, particularly in the NFL community where it remains a scourge.

Let it be used as one more example for the need to plan ahead, to call a cab (or limo for some of these guys), to find a designated driver, to stay home or anything else to avoid this absolutely, 100-percent preventable issue.

Graphic Warning

Serious warning regarding this video!!!"

Even Belcher drove after drinking last week. Police discovered him at 3 a.m. last Saturday sleeping off a night of partying in his Bentley, which was parked yet running. The cops gave him a break; he was allowed to go inside a nearby apartment complex and get some rest. Hours later, he went home and shot Perkins nine times.
He likely could've been detained at 3 a.m.
DUI is the league's biggest legal issue. A study by the San Diego Union-Tribune found that 112 of the 385 NFL player arrests (29 percent) between 2000 and 2008 involved drunk driving.
Belcher's crime was spectacular but beyond rare. The NFL doesn't have a murder problem. It doesn't even have a gun problem. If anything, the league's players are better behaved than the general public. That same Union-Tribune study found players arrested at a rate of one per 47. The U.S. population was one per 21, more than twice as often.
However, drinking in excess then driving remains difficult for the league to curb, the one issue it just struggles to contain.
It's not all that different for the rest of the country. We've been trying to wipe out drunk driving for generations now – from the formation of MADD, to the lowering of legal alcohol levels to endless mass publicity campaigns. There is no one left that doesn't realize not just the dangers of driving drunk but also the likelihood of getting arrested. There may not be anyone who doesn't know at least one victim.

Yet it continues over and over, probably because it's a split-second decision, often made when a person's judgment has, by definition, been chemically altered.
This wasn't even Brent's first trouble with the issue. He plead guilty in 2009 to DUI while in college. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, community service and ordered to sit in on a victim's impact group.
It didn't take.
Jerry Brown (Getty)Again, this is a societal problem. The NFL doesn't want this. The NFL already stresses it to players at every turn. It used to run what was called the “safe ride” program to get players home, but it was taken over by the NFL Players Association in 2009 over concerns about confidentiality. The NFLPA still operates it [albeit at the cost of $85 per ride, more than most cabs] with the phone number on the back of every union card. Both groups can only attempt to do more.
If there is one NFL trend that may be exposing itself here is that players, perhaps in higher numbers than expected, are partying hard on Friday night with a game normally less than 48 hours later.
Young people are going to go out. That's unlikely to ever change, but maybe teams, or the league overall, can focus on providing safe rides or significant reminders on that night of the week. Who knows? Let there be more discussion on potential solutions.
Belcher committed a wild act that brought demands and finger-pointing from every possible angle, regardless of if they were germane to the issue.
Brent's crime is more common, less eye-popping and almost non-political. There aren't any special interests to inflame or any pending lawsuits to build an argument off – the stuff that drives too many news cycles today.
This, however, is the bigger deal. This is the most likely crime a NFL player will commit. This, sadly, wasn't all that shocking.
Here's hoping the issue gets the same high-profile discussion, because even if we've all heard it before, everyone can use another reminder.  source:

Teen Sentenced to 10 Years Church Attendance

Assistant DA Jim Carnagey's office has confirmed that Judge Norman has required church attendance with other defendants in the past.

SALT LAKE CITY —According to KSL.com A district judge in Oklahoma has generated new controversy by sentencing a teenager to 10 years of church attendance, even though the judge admits it's not constitutional.
Religion News Services reports Judge Mike Norman gave Tyler Alred, 17, a 10-year deferred sentence for DUI manslaughter. Alred was driving a pickup truck that crashed and killed a passenger in December 2011.
In deferring the sentence, the judge not only ordered Alred to a decade of church attendance, but also required him to finish high school and welding school.
Alred's attorney and the victim's family agreed to the terms of the sentence.
The ACLU in Oklahoma calls the church requirement a "clear violation of the First Amendment."
Judge Norman, who has recommended church as part of sentencing in some past cases, admits the church attendance part of the sentence won't hold up legally but doubts either side in the case will appeal.
He says the sentence was the right thing to do.
The ACLU is considering its options, but according to RNS an individual or organization must have legal standing to challenge the constitutionality of the church attendance requirement.

Alred's defense attorney, Donn Baker, called the sentence unusual, but does not plan to challenge it because his client attends church every Sunday, anyway. Baker stated,
'My client goes to church every Sunday. That isn't going to be a problem for him. We certainly want the probation for him.'
Records show that Alred admitted to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers that he had been drinking. Alred was not legally drunk by BAC content standards. However, being underage means that any alcohol detected warrants a charge of DUI. In addition to the DUI charge, Alred was charged with manslaughter as a youthful offender.
Judge Norman has not released a statement, and the responisbility of monitoring Alred's church attendance falls on the DA's office.
The report also notes that Assistant DA Jim Carnagey's office has confirmed that Judge Norman has required church attendance with other defendants in the past.

Madonna’s NFL Satanic Ritual disguised as Church Music.

Warning...Do NOT listen to music links without protection!!!

Madonna’s NFL Satanic Ritual disguised as Church Music. by Nicolas Duplessis.
(The Illuminati always has to do its rituals between the New Moon and Full Moon.  The Full Moon is in 2 more days, so it is their time for rituals  & what better place than a Half Time show with millions of people?)
On top of us having a nearly full moon cycle tonight, on this second month, of day five in the year 2012, this moon cycle is very important to the Illuminati because any ritual that is done, will be full force because the power of the ritual will grow with the moon.
While the full moon starts in 48 more hours, it is very important for the Illuminati Ritual to happen before that due date.
(Madonna opened with a Roman Theme but she didnt have a Roman Helmet, instead she had a ritual Lucifer horned crown of gold!)
(Red. Black. Gold. All of the colors used in Madonna’s Half Time Show)
(Madonna used Satan horns for her opening act)
Madonna comes out, and her first act is a Roman Theme Show to her track “Vogue”.  But while it was a Roman costume theme, one couldn’t help but notice the two Satan horns coming up from Madonna’s head gear.  The Romans didn’t wear helmets with horns nor can this be found in Egypt head gear being that she did mix in some Egyptian ritual dancing.
  • Also in Act 1-Vogue Track, which is a synchronised dance song, we see a black guy dancing around Madonna with Angel Wings and a harp.  Lucifer, was the angel of music and the arts before he fell from heaven.

Also at the top of the show, the wings that appear to be feathers of an angel are really webbed wings, which are associated with Lucifer photos from the Roman Era.
We see the male dancers doing acrobats for her track “Music”. During this chaos, there were two male dancers that got down on all fours, like the Muslims do when they pray to Allah.  Most cheerleading teams, do not actually assume a prostration position when building a pyramid but in Satanic Rituals, it is believed that Lucifer or the devil would assume a prostration position and the witches would line up and kiss his anus as a sign of respect.  We not only saw a classic Lucifer Ritual Pose but we also saw the quick building of a pyramid by her dancers.
(The male dancers in Act 2(Track: Music) made a quick pyramid and Madonna slithered through the pyramid like a snake. The pyramid in the photo is Satan’s Pyramid and an occult seal used to invoke Satan during rituals.)
In Freemason Bibles, which is basically the King James Bible, except on page 33 of the Freemason Bible, it informs the reader that Lucifer is the real God & that Lucifer is the real Jesus and also according to this Freemason Bible, it is indeed Lucifer that is the carrier of light.  So, these people are masters at double talk and hiding their worship of Satan behind Christianity.
So, we see her final Act and she comes out in a black Sabbath witch’s gown, singing to her track “Like A Prayer” but yet this supposedly religious song doesn’t use the word Jesus, so who was she praying to when she dropped to her knees?
  • Her track “Like a Prayer” has lyrics saying “I close my eyes and I think I’m falling out of the sky.”  This track tells the story of Lucifer, the Fallen Angel(Light sticks are used in Illuminati Rituals, to worship Lucifer, and they are often held by the observers of the rituals, as a way of participating. )
According to Lucifer Freemason Texts, Lucifer is the lord of light and to worship Lucifer one would wear a black robe (like Madonna had on) and by her having the entire stadium participate with her in this ritual by holding up lights to her ritual, she basically did a classic musician performance of casting a spell on her audience and fooling them into Satanic Worship.
Dont forget that before Madonna put on the black robe, her dancers were in red, gold & black outfits and some were in red & white, which are colors that one uses to worship Lucifer.  The entire show had a lucifer color theme.
(To worship Lucifer, one must wear mostly red and black. Madonna had on a black robe but the entire color scheme of the entire show was blk/red if you take into account her dancers starting in the second part of Act 2 with the cheer-leader rappers)
During the last act “Like a Prayer” we not only see lights that are made to look like Hell Fire & sometimes the beams of light even take on a giant, quick pyramid formation but also during this supposedly ”church song” she ends the show by dropping into the ground.  This was a Satanic Ritual.
What did this ritual mean? This Satanic Ritual, is a classic petition to Satan, in an effort to call for chaos out of order.  While many people think that the Illuminati wants order out of chaos, that is simply not true.
According to Illuminati text, the Fallen One, desires Chaos out of Order. They will take what is orderly and make it chaotic!
So, this ritual, done by madonna along with millions of Americans, spells wars, disease and a crashing of the Old World Order.  While the lights at the end said “World Peace”-it doesnt matter what you see but instead you have to look at what they do and what is their definition of “peace”.
This is Hollywood and this is what Hollywood does best.

Michael Jackson Video, In The Closet, is a video that featured Madonna in the back ground vocals, all though she requested that the credits only read “Lady X” and even in this track, Madonna talks about “casting spells”.  Madonna is the voice that is speaking on this track-so listen real good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qLY0vbrT8Q&ob=av2e
