Pat Robertson: ‘The Poor Jews Don’t Understand’ Antisemitism

Pat Robertson just can’t go off quietly into the sunset.

That would be too easy.

Instead, he seems to be on a mission to constantly outdo himself with more and more ridiculous and offensive statements.

Then again, maybe it’s just a competition he’s got going on with John Piper. In that case, the race is neck and neck.

In this quintessentially Pat video, Robertson explains how Jewish people are ignorant (and I would assume, therefore, partly to blame, right Pat?) about the cause of antisemitism in the world.

The video actually starts off more or less ok, with Pat seemingly declaring his support for Jewish people and rejection of antisemitism.

Then, in typical Robertson fashion, he says something completely ridiculous.

The Jewish messiah will not be a god.

Will not be a sacrifice.

Will not be a virgin birth.

Will not complete or discard the Torah and commandments.

Will not tell you to pray to him. Will not tell you to go to war but rather an incredible peace will happen when he lives.

But this is really important! The Jewish messiah MUST have a human daddy sperm donor that's a direct descendant of King David and Solomon the tribe of Judah. No adoption option. Sperm must be involved and specific sperm.

So here's a job description for you.....please look these up so you know I'm not just giving you bs!

The concept of Messiah is taught in the Tanach, and clearly teaches all the following criteria must be fullfilled for any person to be seen as Messiah.

1. Messiah will reign as King of Israel and gather all Jews from exile back to Israel. Jews will flood to Israel. Duet 30:3, Isaiah 11:11~12, Jeremiah 30:3, 32: 37, Ezekial 11:17, 36:24.

....however, Jesus was not King and Jews didn't flock to Israel.

2. The Holy Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt. Isaiah 2:2~3, 56:6~7, 60:7, 66:20, Ezekiel 37:26~27, Malachi 3:4, Zechariah 14: 20~21.

.....the Temple was still not yet rebuilt.

3. Worldwide peace and an end to all wars. Universal disarming of weapons. Micah 4:1~4, Hoseah 2:20, Isaiah 2:1~4, 60:18.

...obviously, war exists still, and many wars are fought in the name of Jesus.

4. Messiah reigns as King and all Jews will follow commandments of the Torah. Ezekiel 37:24, Deuteronomy 30:8~10, Jeremiah 31:32, Ezekiel 11:19~20, 36: 26~27

...all Jews are not embracing Torah and certainly not following the commandments.

5. Messiah will rule Israel and the whole world will put down all other religions and the world will recognize and serve the One true Lord of Israel. Zechariah 3:9, 8:23, 14:9~16, Isaiah 45:23, 66:23, Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 38:23, Psalms 86:9, Zephaniah 3:9

...obviously, this hasn't happened.

6. Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a direct descendant of King David and King Solomon.

Genesis 49:10, 2 Samuel 7:12~14,

1 Chronicles 22:9~10, Numbers 1:1~18.

...Genealogy is only passed from father to son in Tanach. The Christian Bible says he didn't have a father from the Tribe of Judah

7, Ezekiel 46:1-4, the true Moshiach to come will offer HaShem burnt sacrifices of six lambs on the Sabbath and new moons in the 3Rd temple.. where does that leave your jesus?

8 HaShem does not accept human sacrifices!! It is an abomination to him... Deuteronomy 12:30-31
